WLAD MLOUK LAHWA, Moroccan band is led by Abdeljalil Kodssi, who was discovered in a barber shop by Juan Goytisolo, a famous Spanish writer. Besides his work he played a lot in Marakesh, and soon he was invited to Spain and France, too. He managed to spread his people’s music to several countries. The strangest co-operation was established between him and Don Cherry, famous American trumpet-player, who insisted on working with him until his death, 1995.
