A small town is gripped with excitement in anticipation of the annual marathon. Instead of the starting shot, a bomb explodes. A chain of events is set off and nobody can guess how it will end. The police inspector, a sculptor, a gang of crocks operating in the vicinity of a public lavatory - all of them have to go through their own marathon. Only a balloon released by chance glides on its own without knowing how things began or how they will.end.

Born in 1975, in Tallinn. He has been interested in drawing comic strips and creating illustrated stories since his childhood. Still in his school years, he made a short plasticine animation film. He began his higher education at the Tallinn Teachers’ Training College, which he left in 1997 and went on to study animation under the guidance of Priit Pärn at the Turku Arts and Media School in Finland.
He has been also part of the creative core of several rock groups, written song lyrics, made arrangements and created tunes.
